greetings!! my hellish week is finally overrrrrr!!!! yeahhhhhhh!!!
so this week, i had three exams, one yesterday and two today.  the problem is that these three classes love to screw me over or something and keep on having exams around the same time....like, come on mannnn i need time to study and if you're all clumped together like that, i can't do anything >[
buttttt i managed since two of the classes aren't that difficult.  they're quite easy.  so sociology and japanese weren't much of a problem.  i literally studied less than two or three hours for both.
on the other hand, physics.... oh...physics... LOL i spent HOURS AND HOURS on that... i was so sick of studying by the end of yesterday;; but i forced myself to study T^T  i guess it paid off though? haha cuz during the exam there was this one question and i had no idea what to do with it and i was getting mad at myself cuz i couldn't do it after all that studying, but i tried to calm down lol and figured it out? lol a light bulb went on, buttttt i don't know if it was the right light bulb.... hopefully, it was hehe
well anywayssssss i'm done now! andddd instead of working on next semester's schedule, i am doing this. lulz.  i have time now, so i'll do it tomorrow~~ XD

i'll start off with something random haha


so on one of the drum practices, nick brought snacks for us, again, yay~ and i would grab each one of them HAHA and people weren't taking the cute cone ones, so i took two sets XD hehe





doesn't the cover and the cone look cute? haha it tastes good, too~ they're different flavors, but all of them have chocolate at the bottom.

oh, and i was amuzing myself learning japanese through reading the stuff on the wrapper HAHA.  it has like questions and answers about those little guys on the cover LOL XD




i found another ice cream that i LOVE!  there's nothing special about it haha i just like this kinda flavor? haha it's cider and yogurt, and i knew i was gonna like it when i read that haha.  i think it kinda tastes like milkis or however you spell that in eng lol



10.23.11: had Rock the Era.  we went on a field trip for this meeting haha.  they made a statue for the July festival in 2010, and i don't remember if it's another one or the original, but that statue is now in Lincoln Park.  so we all went together to take a look at it.



ta-da!  so the story of the statue is that when our president came to visit chicago for the first time, he saw racial discrimination at lincoln park (i think the spot where the statue is) for the first time.  he wanted to talk to the boy who was discriminated against, but he couldn't.  so he vowed to do his best to get rid of racial discrimination.  and the statue is a Caucasian boy and an African-American boy playing soccer together.  cuz what he saw was Caucasian boys playing soccer while an elderly man watched them, then when the African-American boy laughed at a boy cuz he missed the ball or something and fell, and then the man yelled at him and said some nasty stuff, and the boy ran off cyring D:  so yeah, that's the story :P i'm sure all of you skipped it, but whateverr haha





this is in the background.  it's so nice and pretty there.  i wanna go back when there's not a lot of people haha.  i'm pretty sure it's usually pretty peaceful, but that day, all of us went together soooo yeah. lulz.


after coming back home, my mom and i wanted some jja jang myun/ jjam bbong.  so the whole fam went to assi.



it's not as good as when they first opened, but it's A LOT better than the last time i had it.  so i was fairly happy haha



10.24.11: had to go visit king spa cuz our groupons were expiring at the end of the month X0

and guess what i did? eat.  and nothing else.  LOL.  well i did watch pokemon with cassie... buttttt that's pretty much it haha.  we couldn't even stay for that long cuz my mom had to go somewhere.  whatever, i'll go later without cassie and enjoy myself hehe

10.25.11: my dad gave me two tickets to a private tasting event cuz the company he works in is opening a new one like a block away from the original one in chicago old town lol and the funny thing is that they are NOT closing the old one LOL i dunno why...

after this one, i gave up on taking pictures cuz it was way too dark and my phone does not have the capacity to take good pics in dark soooo yeah.  but im sad cuz i didn't get a pic of my favorite dish D: it was the duck tatami.  it was soooo good.  even better than the steak.  (what? sandy preferring duck over steak? LOL)

we ate $140 worth of food haha but i only have these in pic.  aw well.  you guys can try it yourselves :D although you won't be able to have it for free like jin and meeee ehehehehe

oh, but we were sad cuz we weren't 21.... cuz the drinks were all free, too T^T i wanted wine so badlyyyyyyy



10.28.11: OFF TO CHAMPAIGN!!! XDDDD  i was so excited to go cuz i was feeling down and wanted to have some fun haha

we left at 6:45pm-ish and got there at 9 something? lol.  i was being a good student and did my japn hw during the ride hehe

artie gave us a ride to loria's place, and we had seoul pizza when we got there, but i was too busy eating so no pics haha. (i ate 5 slices of pizza and one fish bread haha)



10.29.11: ate kimchi fried rice and egg for breakfast.  then went to eat lunch haha.

10.31.11: i'm back in chicago, and studying for physics started from this day T-T

our school sells sushi at the cafe inside the library, and i always wanted to try it.  so i was like why not and got it cuz i was hungry haha



shrimp tempura with cream cheese, i think lol.  ummm it was...ok.  i don't wanna say it was bad, but it wasn't good.  and it was a bit below ok lol.  i should've known :P


after studying for about six hours, i went to evanston to grab argo tea and food from wings over evanston. yayyy

so that's all i have for now haha.  i'm actually going to a place called shiroi hana today.  but i think im gonna have something warm instead of sushi cuz their unlimited sushi is like $25, and that's way too much for me;;; so i'll just get few pieces and a dish.  hope it's good!

oh, yeah.  so i'm going there with my japn class haha so we're also stopping by a japn mercantile.  she said they have japn books there, so i might buy one hehe

wow it's been awhile since i updated haha i probably lost the small amount of readers that i had. oops.
hopefully, i'll post more regularly and get you guys back hehe :D
so i haven't blogged for almost four months and have a lotttt to blog about;; i didn't think that i would have so much pictures and whatnot, but apparently, i do haha. so i warn you now that this post is going to be LOOOOONG
oh, and don't you think it's funny how i start blogging again when school's about to start? ahaha (i thought it was funny;;)


05.12.11: my last (full) day at urbana! i feel like this was like couple of years ago or something;; and everything's a mess in my head right now and i'm thinking, 'wait....this happened on that day?' LOL

to start off, just two selcas hehe XD



the quality's really weird cuz i was taking it as an object LOL oops, my bad


so after we got ready, we headed to einstein bros bagels for breakfast


my black iced coffee ♥ it kinda tasted like starbucks coffee haha



my sandwich. i don't remember the name;; you're overestimating me if you expected me to remember haha


and we were originally supposed to go to a somewhat fancy restaurant for dinner, but it was raining like crazy so just ended up eating chipotle :D (man, i want chipotle now;;)

oh, and the weather doesn't look that bad in the picture, but like a minute or two before, it was raining like CRAZY! but the sun was still out, so it was really weird;;


anyways, we went back to loria's apartment to eat, and i don't exactly remember what went after lol

but! i do remember eating my bagels for late night snack~ hehe


look at all my bagels!!! ehehehe i looooove bagels! XD ♥ i found an einstein bros bagels near depaul, so imma go there to grab some once school starts. yay~ abuse my upass LOL



omg the spread was soooo good. but i don't remember the name of it HAHA


oh! now i remember what we did after breakfast haha we went back to loria's apartment to leave my bagels and the spread because we were going to the mall! the next picture helped me remember haha

so i was at this store (i forgot the name. i think i can remember if i think hard enough, but meh, too lazy HAHA) and found adventure time things and got so excited when i found this!:


isn't it soooo cute? hehe i got two to give one to jin :) hehe. she took jake and i took finn. but i don't think jin uses it anymore....i saw it lying around on her table....); lol jk. i don't really care

oh, and btw, adventure time is AWESOME!!! >:D


05.13.11: the day when i came back home. i was kinda sad but mostly happy to go back home cuz i was getting sick of sleeping on the floor and waking up all bloated haha

so before we went to the bus stop/station or whatever you call it, loria and i met up with her boyfriend and went to eat at cocomero. (jessica left earlier in the day with artie. poop. haha XD)


i don't remember which flavors i got, but i did get strawberries hehe :)


after eating the froyo, we went off to catch our bus. and i thought we were supposed to get the fancy express one, but it was a crappy one. poops. i think i slept for the most part haha

oh, and urbana was hot, so we were wearing like shorts and whatnot, but guess what? it was freaking cold as hell in chicago >[ so we went in the bathroom to change/put on warmer clothes. too much work taking out clothes from a tightly packed suitcase;;


anyways, we were hungry by the time we got back, so we ended up going to:

05.16.11: janet took eva and i to a sushi place that her family often goes to.

07.03.11: Korean General Meeting. We had a special language meeting on this day, and our korean drum team was asked to perform during the meeting. So we worked our butts off getting ready to perform. our practices were usually 5 hours long, but half the time we were taking a break and eating haha but i think we did better than expected :D

07.04.11: it was obviously the independence day lol and there was a parade or whatever in front of my house, and my dad wanted to show it to cassie. so he took her and my camera and took some photos.

08.01.11: i've been cooking a little this summer and wanted to make some food for my girls cuz i'm nice LOL i made bulgogi and bibimgooksoo but didn't take pictures of em. too lazy XD


i was almost done with the food while eva and jin got bored and did this with my laptop:

we got back home around 7:30.... i was thinking more like EAT at 7, but janet took too long looking for her stuff at old orchard-_- ruined my schedule, but meh.




08.18.11: EVA'S 19TH BIRTHDAY!! woot woot!

went to fogo 2 go for brazilian pizza that eva likes so much haha. we got two, one that eva likes and a different one. i liked the one that eva likes :)


after the pizza, we went to the batting cage, and everyone got 11 balls except for eva who had 22.

kiran was the best, eva was second, and jin, julia, and i all sucked. but for me, i didn't do as bad as i thought i would HAHA (but i think i was the worst;;)

we also tried golfing hehe. i think we paid $10 and got...A LOT of balls haha but it didn't seem that much after getting into it :P i wasn't good at it :( i want to learn it from a pro now! haha it's pretty fun. although i was getting frustrated cuz i couldn't hit the freaking ball lol



eva's birthday cake! green tea chiffon cake from le sucre.

it was pretty good, but i like the strawberry&kiwi cake more. and i told them to get me that one for my birthday ;)

oh, but i'm actually allergic to kiwis LOL. so i'm trying to get rid of it by just eating them even if my allergy acts up haha. it was suggested by julia cuz that's how she got rid hers haha

oh yeah, we went to karaoke to eat the cake and, obviously, to karaoke haha

isn't this little baby soooo cute? this picture was taken during the korean general mtg that i talked about earlier in this post.
he danced more than cassie (actually, everyone danced more than her because she didn't dance at all;;) and made people smile&laugh. so cute!



my new shoes! i think i got this on the 2nd week of july? not sure, but yeah. first time for me to spend almost $100 on shoes;; but it was worth it. it's pretty and comfortable!

all the others shoes that i have hurt my feet whenever i worked, but this one didn't hehe. but i guess that doesn't really matter now since i quit that job last month~~ woot woot!



i think this was either my first or second time making bibimgooksoo. first try was waaaaay too spicy haha;; the second one was better but still spicy.

i have the tendency of making spicy food REALLY spicy for the first few times lol

i got sick of going there so didn't end up going there for eva's birthday as planned. not only cuz i was sick of it but also cuz eva didn't really care for it haha. i think she secretly didn't want to go HAHA



potbingsoo from king spa. got it for free from my assistant manager B) when i stayed after work to relax with one of my coworkers with the same name as me haha. it was really huuuuuge, so we couldn't finish eating it D:



my name tag that i'll never get to wear again :( actually not that sad LOL

i think people usually leave it behind, but i didn't. i took mine HA. i don't know.. like, what will they do with my name tag? it has MY name, and no one's gonna have that name lol. as far as i know, i haven't met anyone with my name here or in korea. i've seen it but whatever.

i believe this is the sirloin i had at chili's, and i wasn't satisfied. the one that i had in village crossing was really tender and good, but this one was pretty tough and didn't really look/taste like a medium rare or the one that i had at the other place. disappointment!

cassie loves our neighbor's dog. she thinks he's her dog LOL he's name's jake :D

they originally had a dog named max, so for awhile everytime she said "jake's out!" i would be like "no, he's name's max. jake is finn's friend, remember?" and she yelled at me saying, "아니야! she's jake!" LOL (she's a feminist. she only says she haha)
my mom later told me that they got a new dog cuz the other one got old and died, sadness :(

you know, i was actually wondering why the dog looked so young HAHA



i got too close....;; it's starting to bark at me;; he hasn't really seen me around, so he's not friendly with me T^T



there he goes barking crazy loud at me;; until i left;; and there is my sister still smiling =_=

i just need the wolverine to finish my collection (i do have the cyclops but don't have a pic of it), but i still didn't get it.... i wasted a total of $5...siiiiigh. why won't you come out wolverine!!!!

oh, and i got another daredevil yesterday -_- so i gave it to janet lol i don't remember what the other one was, but i know it wasn't wolverine T.T



my new watch from jin that was delivered crazy broken.....

it was pretty annoying to get the refund cuz she bought it through gmarket. she had to email back and forth with the seller couple of times, i had to take a video of how broken it was, and now we have to order a new one cuz they can only send it overseas through gmarket. i'm thinking of getting a different one or from a different seller..

anyways~ now i have a free accessory lol not a watch, accessory.




so mid-may, i got a polaroid~~ but i didn't get the one that i blogged about haha. jessica convinced me to get the newest one, and i obviously got convinced haha and i'm actually glad that i did. cuz i likey this one XD



fujifilm instax mini 50s. piano black ♥

bought it on amazon for $85 :) it was originally $115 but i signed up for the credit card and got a $30 gift card ehehehe

i think jessica got it within a week after i did, and she covered hers with legit crystals and pearls haha if you want to see, you can visit her blog :D (i'm a nice person, so i went through her blog to find the post haha)

the self-timer is so neat! hehe and i got used to my piano black, so the older ones look so alien now haha. like one time, we were taking a picture at ice-t and jin pulled up her polaroid and i'm like, what the heck is that? LOL


anyways, bought some stuff for my polaroid


jin laughed at me the first time i took this out of my bigger bag haha but it's ok. it's prettier than the burger and still protects the camera haha



the shavet pens SUCK. don't get it. i guess it's not that bad, but i'd rather use sharpies. so once these run out, imma just use those.

oh, and the one that i really wanted, the white one, would obviously not work -_- so i bought a whiteout to write with, but guess what? it likes to poop. it doesn't exactly write....
after the whiteout failed, i went to blicks lol and got a freaking paint marker. at first, it didn't work, so i got really annoyed, but it worked later so yay~



got 20 pooh & 40 regular at gmarket and 40 colored frame from amazon, and now i'm left with 20 each.



mini-stand! since there's a self-timer, this is really useful when taking group photos haha and also this is more trustworthy than my shaky hands LOL


i've decided to not upload polaroids, so the ones above are those rare ones that i only put up because my friends liked it so much and wanted me to upload it haha

after i quit work on 07/30, i've had a lot of time to watch new krn shows, and one of them's immortal song 2. and there's one idol that i fell in love with:


G.O ♥ kkyaaaa~ i love him! he's so charming and i love his voicee~~ 꿀성대~XD

i've watched sesame player and idol army within a week cuz of this guy haha and while i was looking for his vids on youtube, i found gd's and started watching him for like hours and went back to G.O LOL i really like him, but he hasn't surpassed gd yet ehehe


i think some of you might of just briefly looked through the crappy ass pictures and left my blog, but that's ok. i'll forgive. LOL i know you're getting tired of me now, so i'll stop blabbing haha
