haha so i wasn't sure whether i wanted to get it soon or maybe later so that i can buy it for a little cheaper. butttti kept on looking at the phone and couldn't resist D: lol SO i made the order on the 23rd of last month and got it last week!!
usps tried to deliver it to my house on wednesday, but no one was home to sign it. so i had to go get it at the post office the next morning before school :P i peaked at it at the post office and couldn't stop smiling ehehe. it was so prettyyyyyy.
and cuz i left home early to pick it up, i had ample amount of time before class, so i just took pictures of the opening of the box in my classroom haha. no one was there so meh haha. but i only took three pics :3

it came with, obviously, a battery, a start guide, charger, usb chord, and a headset.
the seller wrapped it up like a gift! haha. although i paid for it, it kinda felt like i was getting a gift or something. felt nice hehe
so i got the ultra matte cuz one of my friends told me that if i wanted some grip, i should get matte. and i did haha.
but guess what? i suck at putting on protective covers T^T my phone looks a little weird now.. damn it... but whatever, better than my precious getting scratched LOL
So far, i LOVE my phone! haha. the screen's so big and nice! the colors are really vivid, too. and with mytouch, i would never have service in the subway, but with this one, i do! so i guess it wasn't just t-mobile that sucked but my old phone as well. lol.
09.25.11: 20th was Jessica's 21st birthday, so we were supposed to have dinner on this day. but she wasn't feeling too great D: so it got postponed to tuesday :P but Jin and i still went to downtown cuz i still had to get Jessica's b-day gift hehe
the first thing we did when we got to water tower: EAT! we were kinda hungry haha cuz we had a meeting before haha so we got food from wow bao.

the noodles were pretty cold;; but otherwise, it wasn't that bad haha
also got teriyaki chicken and thai curry chicken baos. (just noticed that these are not in focus. great auto focus, camera -_-)
after searching for Jessica's gift, we went to forever yogurt cuz Jin never tried it before. i actually had no idea that it opened on chicago :P

09.27.11: the birthday dinner! we were originally gonna go to a sushi place, but Jessica had a bad experience at todai on her actual b-day, so we changed it to pasta. and went to:

Jessica ordered a strawberry margarita! XD ahaha so weriddddd.
but she didn't like it....way too strong. none of us liked it :P

my shrimp scampi. Jessica and i got the same thing.
they used to have a pasta called jumbo shrimp and you could get that with marinara (i'm guessing) or lemon sauce, and Jessica got that one the first time we went together and it was pretty good. so i wanted to get that one, but i think they took it off the menu D: and this thing was the closest haha. more shrimp and less pasta. it was good, but it would've been better if THEY mixed in the sauce :P
after the meal, we had Jessica's b-day cake.

10.01.11: the day of the aids run & walk!
beyond this point, all the pics are taken with my new phone XD except for one haha. oh, did i ever mention that my digital cam and phone are both 8 megapixel? maybe i did lol don't remember. and the front cam on my phone is 2 megapixel.

so on this day, i woke up at 4am;; (cuz i'm slow at getting ready and gotta chant and shtuff), went to pick up Jin at 6am and met with Eva at the swift at 6:13ish? cuz i thought the first train was at 6:16, but i was looking at the wrong schedule :P it was at 6:31 haha XD my badddd but we were all on time? hehe

something, but there wasn't...haha. so we just left and went to victoria's secret and topshop.

after getting the pants, we were hungry and couldn't decide where to eat. so we just went to chick-fil-a cuz it was new and we never tried it before.

and i would forget to take a pick of my sandwich;;; i got the deluxe chicken sandwich tho! haha it wasn't that bad. it's a fast food place, so i didn't really expect anything awesome, so it was ok haha
at least here's my waffle potato fries HAHA yeah....remembered to take it after i ate all except for three haha. the fries were pretty good, too.
while we were eating, Jin left cuz she wanted to go home and sleep before she had to go off to work at 5pm. Eva and i went to argo tea to grab some tea and go study at our downtown library.
and on this day! we discovered that there's an einstein bros bagel right next to argo tea!!! and they're both like a block away from the building where the library is! i dunno why i didn't notice that before T-T
anyways~ after getting the tea, we went to the library. and instead of studying, i did this (take pics of random things;;):

10.02.11: had a meeting in the morning. was debating real hard whether i should study at the library again or not. ended up studying haha. and it was a good choice because there was bears game that day and our culture center's parking lots were all filled up, so my dad was just gonna wait for me in the car until the meeting finished, but since i was gonna take the train to go to the lewis library again, he was able to just go home.
before heading off to the library, went to grab some bagels from einstein and a drink from argo tea :3

tried iced green tea strawberry creme. it was...ok? haha it got weirder after every sip for some reason;;
i LOVE this shmear!!!! i tried garden something the last time i was at uiuc cuz i thought maybe that was the one i liked, but nope. this is it. this is the baby i like haha. i think i finished 3/4 of it already :P

10.03.11: it's been getting cold lately (although the weather was really nice today and it's supposed to be for the rest of the week, wth?;;), and i wanted to start knitting again XD so went to michael's with mom and bought all this!:

i was originally going to make another gray one, but the brown looked really nice hehe. and it was supposed to be bright red, but they didn't have enough and wine looked nicer anyways :P
so i've already started making the wine one. i'm gonna try to make it really thick and short, so i don't have to wrap it around. yeah, i'm THAT lazy ahahahaha XD and i think it's gonna look pretty hehe
