Greetings! :D haha soooo i have three weeks of school left! ahhh i'm so excitedddd!! hehe i can't wait for next semester! hehe mostly cuz i'm finally taking japanese!!!! awww yeahhhhhhhh! oh, since i started with school, i guess i'll start off with my schedule haha
today was my registration for fall semester, and it was right before my first class, so i just went to school a little earlier to get it done. i was waiting for my time and pressed the button right at 9:45am, but people beat me to it and two of the classes i wanted to take filled up, so i ended up with my second choices :P but that's ok~
so here's my schedule:
MWF: 9:20am Japn 101, 10:25am Modern Phys (PHYS 235), 11:30am Modern Phys Lab (PHYS 237, W only)
T/Th: 10:00am Humanities (HIST 106), 11:30am International Relations (PLSC 102), 1:00pm Sociological Perspective (SOCL 101)
as you can see, i am taking phys next semester haha i talked to my professor, Dr. G, who is also the head of the department, and he convinced me to take Modern Physics because it's the most philosophical course the department offers. and even if i don't continue to major in phys, he thinks that it'll be helpful in general. he also told me that he won't try to persuade me next time if i do decide for sure not to major in physics haha
so i'll be continuing to major in phys for now and keep in mind and look into other things, too.
oh! and he was like unless you're going to change to humanities & social sciences, i wouldn't worry. HAHA. that's what i was planning on doing, so i kinda laughed a little. he said if i do that, i should minor or double major in science, too, for the future.
anyways, we shall see how it goes next semester, and if i still feel like i can't commit, i guess i'll be switching my major or at least minor or double in something.
ok, enough of school. today is thursday, and it's practice day again~ but no one came...and our performance is next week=_=;;; i don't know what people are thinking. bah.
anyways, before the practice, met up with jin earlier, as usual, to eat.
we went to this place:
i believe it's by harrison & wabash, but you don't have to know the exact place because i highly recommend you to NOT go there, and i'll tell you all about this place lol
jin's looking at the menu. she was buying me cuz i don't have a lot of money :P
after ordering, we were patiently waiting for our food, and the waitress brought over a small cup with a "candle" inside
do you see how dirty that glass is?? this is only the beginnging -_- and the flickering "fire" was annoying me, so i turned it off eventually
i didn't notice at first, but i was bored and moving around the plates and saw all the chips on it. like, seriously? you couldn't really replace those plates? omg. and my napkin was all messed up, too!
at least jin's napkin was all nice. (the plate was pretty much the same;;)
appetizer: gyoza. these probably were the best out of the three we ordered. it's meh, but if we HAD to pick which one was the best, it would be this one.
oh, and she brought us forks with these. ummmm i don't know, we look pretty asian, and yeah...i don't know. anyways, they were dirty and the chopsticks seemed to be in a better condition so just used those
yaki udon. jin thought this was udon with soup, but it wasn't. she and i were thoroughly confused when the noodles came out haha.
oh, yeah. so this udon. ha ha. yeah...wasn't really good. actually, it was bad. there was barely any noodles in there, and more than half of the plate was filled with vegetables. and it was too salty for my taste.
dragon roll. jin was craving maki because janet went to mitsuwa the other day and was tweeting about them haha so she paid $15 to eat them, which, btw, sucked. i can't believe i'm saying this, but tokyo lunch box dragon rolls are better than this! >:[
it was too salty, again, and the tempuras inside were really sharp for some reason. almost choked on the last piece -_-
look how small it is!!!
thus, jin wasted money on crappy food, yet again. it's always the asian food & pricey food that taste crappy. what the plum? so i think we should just stick with cheap food haha they somehow tend to be better, for example, the pizza.
anyways, after we finished eating, we stopped by caribou
jin's chai tea latte (way too cinnamony;;), my americano ha, and COOKIES! they were the best food we had today haha
jin said she looks like a cartoon character or something lol i don't know what she's talking about
i went to go grab some napkins, and guess what i saw?
ta da! their napkins are pretty!! XD haha no? well..it is for me! napkins from other places are all boring and stuff, but their's is pretty creative :)
after talking about regular show & adventure time for a little, we went off to practice.
OMG! jin can laugh EXACTLY like pops! ahahaha i laughed so hard. oh man. but she does it better unintentionally LOL she made my day *tears*
oh, btw no pictures of practice. i think you guys saw enough of them haha right?
so like i said, no one came, so it was yet another private lesson for jin. we practiced till 8:30 and left the center to go home. and at the roosevelt station, jin noticed the art work on the wall and thought it was new or something, but i'm pretty, not entirely, sure that it was there before haha
thought i'd take a picture of it, but it came out crappy because my camera sucks butt :P
jin waiting for me downstairs :)
that's all the pictures from today, and i've been working on the post while watching adventure time with cassie haha we caught up now, so there's nothing to watch. poo~ and it's late now, so she went to sleep haha
she seriously ran over to me when i got home, and she was like, "언니! 지연이 watch jake!" haha damn cute
ok, so i've been meaning to get a nude color manicure cuz i saw my coworker with it during the summer and thought it was really pretty but didn't because i'm lazy haha
on monday, i went to cvs in search for one, but they didn't exactly have the one that i wanted, but i still need a new manicure.
so i just got this one:
fairy tale ivory.
it's sheer but not completely transparent. it doesn't exactly look like this in real life haha and it's easy to apply cuz it's sheer, so that's good for me since i suck at coloring my nails :P plus, it's simple hehe
so that's it for today!
thanks for reading~! :) ♥
